“Clay Therapy” project started in October, 2016. The project doesn’t set a goal to teach molding out of clay. Here clay is material for emotional relaxation that is so necessary for problem children, children with special requirements, and also for adults wanting an anti-stress therapy.
There are three types of activity within the project. First of all we give weekly classes for children from the Jewish families. Children whose parents have learned about the project from social networks and newspapers also join the classes. This type of activity is held in the community.
Volunteers also train children at schools with inclusive education and in the city rehabilitation center.
At last, the third type of activity is presentation of the project in other communities and organizations.
In November and December, 2016 we gave several classes in community and three classes took place in school with inclusive training where they were held with participation of the social teacher Rudchenko Olesya. She already became our volunteer and helps with promotion of the project in the city.
